Marco Di Zazzo was born in Cassino on August 3, 1988. He began by playing soccer until the age of 16, after which he developed an interest in martial arts. He practiced SANDA, Chinese boxing, for six years, competing in numerous national-level matches. His desire for new knowledge led him to start practicing Japanese Ju-Jitsu and to participate in several MMA competitions, also at the national level. His martial journey eventually led him to fall in love with KUDO, as it embodies all the spiritual, ethical, and martial qualities he had long sought.
Italian champion in 2019, he proudly represented his country at the World Championships in Japan in 2023, reaching the quarterfinals. This achievement is a great source of pride for the city of Cassino. On October 29, 2023, he traveled to Lithuania for the European Championships with high expectations, earning a spot on the podium with a third-place finish, the best result of his career at the age of nearly 36. Marco is also a Level I instructor and a black belt 2nd Dan. He teaches his students the beauty of KUDO at the Golden Fitness center in Cassino.
On June 15, 2024, at the European Kudo Championships in Rome, Marco Di Zazzo was crowned vice European champion, further improving his career result, and the following day he earned his 3rd Dan, officially joining the ranks of the world’s greatest athletes and masters. Approaching the age of 37, the athlete will continue his successful collaboration with Colossus Method for new and upcoming challenges, enjoying this unexpected new youth.
