Riccardo Grossi was born in Sora (FR) on August 23, 2008. At the age of three and a half, he began his journey in go-karting with his first kart, a Parolin Delfino with a 35cc 4-stroke engine. He quickly became comfortable driving on the Tirreno Karting track in Ausonia (FR), where he would ask to go every Saturday and Sunday to practice. Thanks to the support of the track owner, Luigi, who helped him develop, and given Riccardo’s talent, after just one year on the track, he started asking for a more powerful kart because his had become too slow, and he wanted to go much faster.

So, at four and a half years old, we decided to buy him a go-kart that was typically used by children aged 7 or 8. However, he insisted on racing with a 60cc engine and chassis. Despite being much smaller than his competitors, Riccardo’s determination and passion for racing were evident. By the age of six, he began competing in many city races, leaving competitors and organizers amazed by his talent and results.
